Zest in the Community
We continue to collaborate with local charities to help those less fortunate in our neighbourhood.
Here at Zest, we truly believe in giving back and helping when and where we can. Our mission is to be able to empower and support those in our local community, by learning and developing the understanding and tools to provide a helping hand.
St Mungo’s work closely with other homelessness organisations in the area to provide the best support possible to everyone they help. Their outreach team members are out on the streets daily, building trusting relationships with people who are sleeping rough and helping them find their next step towards stable accommodation.
The Bournemouth Foodbank is committed to helping those in need all throughout the year, with the driving force that no one in our community should face hunger. They provide 3 days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food, and offer support to local people in crisis who are referred to them by support agencies.
The Health Bus Trust is a charity that provides accessible and appropriate healthcare to people experiencing homelessness in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. The Trust operates a mobile GP-lead service with the aim to engage with people who are the least likely to access healthcare but the most likely to need it.
Faithworks work alongside people in crisis, working tirelessly to support those in the community that need it most, practically building hope and resilience, through projects around food, finance, recovery, homelessness and lone parenting.
Our Contributions So Far
6 Weeks of Giving
Over the course of 6 weeks, we fundraised to support the work of four local charities. These charities connect and collaborate to deliver and link the holistic care and support needed to help those that are vulnerable, enabling their personal recovery journeys.
