Field Service Engineer

We are looking for skilled and customer-focused Field Services Engineers based nationwide to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining kitchen appliances in customers' homes, ensuring high-quality service that aligns with Zest Group’s commitment to excellence.

We Offer you the following:

• Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE plus uncapped bonus scheme based upon jobs completed, first time fix rate, reviews and referrals.

• 23-28 days holiday (increases annually plus bank holidays)

• Main Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and carry out effective repairs on a wide range of domestic appliances within agreed timescales.
• Plan daily routes efficiently to maximise productivity and meet appointment schedules.
• Contact customers in advance to confirm details, and where possible, diagnose issues remotely and prepare correct parts.
• Order and manage spare parts, ensuring availability for repairs while minimising waste.
• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of home appliances.
• Complete accurate and detailed job reports.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers, providing a professional and friendly service that reflects Zest Group’s values. 
• Handle customer concerns with empathy, ensuring a positive experience that encourages loyalty and retention. 
• Identify opportunities to promote Zest Group’s products & services during customer interactions.

Key skills and experience required:

• Proven experience in a field service, maintenance, or repair role with home appliances.

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Full UK driving license (essential).
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Competency in using technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and repair equipment.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or engineering certifications) are desirable but not essential.
